Located in Gansu, these Rainbow Mountain is a must visit national geopark when you come to Northern China. Known for the unusual colors of the rocks, which are smooth, sharp, and several hundred meters tall. Wind, rain, and time then sculpted extraordinary shapes with varying colors, patterns, and sizes.
Sun is very big here, so prepare well for your sunglasses, hat, sunblock, umbrella, scarf and face mask.

The area covers up to 322 square kilometers. It was formed by the erosion of red sandstone, forming isolated peaks and steep stratified outcrops. Its special geological structure, combine with long-term desert conditions, freeze-thaw peeling, and wind and water erosion gave rise to its present appearance.

Can you feel this amazing view? It was voted by a panel of reporters as one of the most beautiful Danxia landforms area in China. And I agree, it was so beautiful. Can't resist.

For me the sun is so big and our group only spend around 1 hour here and back to the bus for the next stop. It's such an amazing scenery you need to enjoy once in a lifetime. But make sure to keep hydrated.
On the way to exit there is some locals that selling scarf, hat, fruits and many more. You can stop by if you interest on it.
