The Greatest Birthday Gift from Nepal | Chandragiri & Nagarkot, Nepal

If you are a mountain person, you will like definetly like it. It’s 2 different places in 2 different area but I just put it to 1 post as it still in 1 theme haha.

Let's talk about Chandragiri Hill first. So Chandragiri is a municipality in Kathmandu district in Bagmati Province, famous for its cable car 200 feet from the ground that opened from 2016. The cable car runs from Thankot to Chandragiri hills, 2,4km line.

Ticket is pricy for foreigner so don't be surprised for Chandragiri cable car trip package price is a bit high, USD 22 for round trip for foreigner

The queue is long but for foreigner & guide you can have fast track.

A cable car can bring up to 10 people so if your group is not 10  people, you will share the car with others.

What you will see on the hill? A temple where people pray & got blessing there and also restaurant and toilet, but the point actually is not what you see on the hill, but the scenery during the cable car line.

Worth to try for the ticket price? As I like mountain I like it, anyway.

Next is Nagarkot. Well. Nagarkot known for its sunrise hiking to see sunrise view of Himalayas including Mount Everest and other peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.

How is the trekking difficulty, in my opinion is easy. Why? Because you will start depart from Kathmandu city around 4.30 in the morning and will take around 1 hour. Last half road is uphill road by car then you will be in an observation deck to wait the sunrise after that I walk downhill through local village. They have the tourist route also but I like more local one. I walk by 2 hours and love it so much ❤️

Make sure you wear comfy clothes and footwear. Also prepare water, little cash, and camera. Check my picture below you will know why you need a camera.

This is the early morning situation its foggy they said its foggy & rainy in this week. And its my birthday so I enjoy it the quiet time to pray and make a wish haha.

then we start walking and suddenly my birthday gift coming. The sky become clear and we can see the peak clearly ohmygodddd even they said this is the first time we have clear sky in this season —- what a greatful birthday trip and I really enjoy my morning walking.

Nepali traditional rice wine

when you cross local house there is a child who sell a pouch made by his mom, I didnt take the picture because I feel to lucky to see this little guy, he even didnt scam me but asking politely : my mom made this would you like to buy some? —— How can I still remember to take out my phone and take picture.

There are many many many spot to get the beautiful picture as each of them are beautiful but I think like half of my route I spend it by enjoying the local life, breathing the clear oxygen, and having peaceful mind. I love love love it so much.

In the end I’m having the tea with local uncles or grandpa maybe haha.

I think it was the greatest birthday gift of the year! Love love it so muchies.

The Ancient City Ayutthaya | Thailand

Where to go outside Bangkok for daytrip? Well, I found out not much places but I would like to explore. Lets start from Ayutthaya, about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. Its an old ancient city that was Kingdom of Siam capital and during that days Burma (now known as Myanmar) easily come to attack because this place is near the Burma border. Then after that the King decide to move the capital to Bangkok as now you know as Thailand capital.

So what you can see now in Ayutthaya is an old ancient city with famous Buddha statue in the tree, floating market that worth to visit, and Summer Palace.

Summer Palace ( Bang Pa-In Royal Palace)

After the king move to Bangkok, this palace is only for vacation purpose when the king want to enjoy some moment here because they like the weather here and also after that the king build few different building you can see like chinese theme house, holland theme house, etc also you can see the house for queen 1, 2, 3, so on and also for the princess.

You should wear polite outfit to come here, a bit strict. Sleeve shirt with long pants and no flip flop. Even its not a temple and also you able to rent a buggy car for THB 400 per hour but you need to drive by yourself and show the driving liscense.

one of the the best buy lately : keen —— cause its able to wear as shoes to enter the restricted area yet very comfortable and proper for outdoor activities

chang in Thai means elephant, so cute is this

the buggy car

praying place with Cambodian style

one of the mansion for queen

great place to walk around

feels so artsy

Actually for me walking is enough no need buggy car because its not as big as you think. Its like a huge garden. Prepare your sunnies & umbrella.

Ayutthaya Floating Market

Nah for this one I really like it. It has several point you will enjoy. First the boat, you will take the longtail boat to enjoy the river then you can have your lunch here with backsound of local performance. Also you can buy some finger food & souvenir. And they said it still less tourist come here so maybe the price is still local wise.

people said you should try Ayutthaya prawn and its so good so sweet

All of us come for reason to Thailand and having trip together haha solo traveler mode suddenly turn off
All of that dishes only THB 200 per person including the prawn so cheappp

Wat Mahathat

Here you can see the Budha head on the tree and the ancient temple views.

not a blackpink fans but the point become famous in socmed because of Lisa they said people come to wear outfit like Lisa and take the picture at the same point lol

Angkor wat feelings but with grass

the famous Buddha head in tree

Super duper hot even my palm cant touch the brick OMG but its beautiful

Wat Phra Sri Sanphet

It feels like Angkor Wat in mini size, also there is white building with big gold Buddha inside but you need to take off your shoes to enter it.

And the iconic here is this 3 stupa that very beautiful in one take.

So overall I like this daytrip it like combination of sightseeing the ancient city and culture. Also its not that crowded with the tourist so you can enjoy the sunny with some history and the peace haha.
